日本オマーンクラブ創立５周年に際して 5th Anniversary of the Japan Oman Club

It is my great pleasure to extend my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Japan-Oman Club.

I have been aware that the Club, a grass-roots organization consisting of Japanese who love Oman, has been engaged in a wide range of activities to further deepen Japanese understanding of Oman and promoting friendship between the peoples of Japan and Oman, for which I would like to express my sincere respect.

On a personal note, I am glad that I could inspire Prof. Haruo Endo, president of the club, to write and to publish an English book entitled “Oman and Japan” and I am happy to know it has contributed to the  deepening  understanding and relationship between the two countries.

I sincerely hope the club will prosper and continue to contribute to develop a strong bond in the years to come.

日本オマーンクラブ創立５周年に際し、心よりお祝い申し上げます。

オマーン好きの日本人を会員とする草の根団体でありますこのクラブが日本人の方々の

オマーン理解を深め、日本とオマーンの友好を促進するためにさまざまな活動をされてきたことを存じ上げており、これに対して、深く敬意を表します。

 個人的なことになりますが、私はクラブの遠藤晴男会長に「日本とオマーン」という英語の本を書いて出版するよう薦めこれが実現したこと、またこの本が両国関係の理解を深めるのに貢献していることをうれしく思っております。

 今後ともクラブが繁栄し、この強い絆を将来に亘って発展させることを心より希望いたします。
